| Flyball competition consists of races between two teams of four dogs each. The teams race side-by-side over a course 51 feet in length. |

| The Flyball box releases a tennis ball when the dog pushes a pedal on the front of
the box. Each dog must run in relay fashion over the jumps,
trigger the release of the ball, retrieve the ball, and
then return over the jumps. |

The first team to have all four dogs
finish the course without errors wins the heat. Teams try to have all four dogs finish in 24 seconds or less. Flyball is fast, fun, and exciting for dogs, handlers, and spectators! |
