TEXAS FLYBALL SURVIVOR's premise is simple: Stranded and left to fend for themselves in one of the most life-threatening places on earth, sixteen above average Flyball Dogs must learn to adapt and survive not only the harsh environment, but more importantly, each other. Every few days the Survivors must gather to vote out one of their own. In the end, the Ultimate Survivor wins one million dog bones.
Meet the obsessive compulsive dogs of Team Charging Eagles! Bella thinks she can win because "I'm good enough, I'm fast enough, and doggone it, people like me". Boomer's favorite food is Bully Sticks (bull penises) and this obsession is sure to scare some of the other male dogs. Bounce, a relative newcomer, is famous for his rapid tail wag, but will he be ruthless enough to win? Keeper is a very sweet Border Collie with a love for life. She'll try to win with love (a longshot with these guys). Jacob Elijah (AKA Jake) is the Defender of Home and Hearth whose luxury item will be a nesting bed. Ruby Red, who works as a Helicopter Pilot and Lounge Singer, is the leading candidate for 2004 CE Meanest Dog. Sadie, last year's CE Meanest Dog winner, is mean, really mean, "Silence of the Lambs" mean. Sydney, the couch surfer and chief window barker, is sweet and loving, but still a Cattle Dog.
Meet the mentally challenged dogs of Team Totally Hot! Brenn works as the Supervisor of Resident Canine Ceiling Fan Patrol (Acer). Brandywine sets the rules for all of the other dogs, and her standards are very high. Diva (Prima Donna) works as a High Fashion Model. She is a needy, loving, shameless hussy. Kasey thinks she can win because her Mom hasn't killed her yet - a Miracle and it makes her a survivor already. Kess, the Ninja Warrior, is sneaky, crafty, watchful and ever hopeful of a chance to swoop in and steal the prize. Rhino has a manic personality, either laid back or on the edge. Watch out if you catch him at the wrong time. Smoke is another bi-polar dog. He either lays back with his feet in the air or is busy wrangling squirrels. Xena, the Warrior Princess, is a part time Counter Surfer and full time Princess. Her favorite food is peppermints (?).
Sunshine Rain's Analysis: "Team Charging Eagles is already split into two camps. The Meanies (Sadie, Ruby, Boomer) and The Softies (Keeper, Bella, Bounce) will fight for the support of Syndey and Jake. This infighting could be their downfall. Team Totally Hot is unified by their total aloofness and feeling of superiority. This overconfidence could be deadly if they underestimate the scrappy CE dogs (especially the Meanies). I'm sleepy now." (Sunshine Rain, the beautiful French Supermodel and last year's winner, is not eligible for competition. She will act as a special analyst for this year's challenge.)
