As the rain poured down, morale was going from bad to worse. Both tribes having to vote off one of their own the first day came as a surprise to all. Not one for bad morale, Smoke did his best to cheer up Totally Hot by starting a game of chase the squirrels. The Jacks really got into it until Kess sarcastically mentioned that Diva sure would have liked this game. (Kess hated Diva!) That brought everyone's spirits down again and the game was over.

    Over at Charging Eagles, Bounce entertained all with doing impressions of the other tribe, "Hey, I'm Kasey, I'm playing with my Bunggy Man, I'm so scary! Grrrr!" Boomer, the MinPin from MacKinney, "Bounce sure does a great Kasey. I laughed so hard I got the zoomies!"

    Later that night both tribes met and host Dillon explained their challenge "SINGLE DOG RACING" to see which tribe could get the best starts, best of three. CE and TH were neck and neck with Bella and Kess both getting 0.00. Next came Kasey vs. Ruby Red. TH pulled into the lead because Ruby had an early (by a mile). Brandy kicked it into gear and blew away Sydney who was distracted by a kid flying a kite while riding a horse wearing roller blades (Xena's idea). TH clinched victory and got to take home their big prize - matching collars and leads from Lupine!

    "Thank goodness the collars and leads were from Lupine," remarked Brandy, "with an appetite like Rhino's, he's sure to eat a couple of them!" Lupine collars and leads are guaranteed for life even if chewed. Congratulations! There will be Lupine collar and lead sets in the raffle!

    At camp Charging Eagles, tempers ran high when Sadie and Sydney argued about why they didn't have better starts. Trying to diffuse the tension, Keeper remarked, "Hey, at least the horse wasn't riding a bicycle and dribbling a basketball? Ha ha!" Boomer didn't laugh.

    Back at the tribal council, there were whispers among several groups of dogs. Dillon asked CE about the possibility of alliances forming. "There are no alliances - just strategy", remarked Boomer, as Sadie and Ruby gave each other knowing looks. In a surprising 4-3 vote Sydney was the next member of Charging Eagles to be voted off. Later, Sadie said, "Sure there are alliances. A dog would be stupid not to form one. I just hope I can trust mine or I'll have to bite someone."

    "I was hoping Bella would vote with me to get rid of Sadie, but I guess she went with the meanies after all." Sydney added after leaving tribal council, "Boomer, you are such a liar! I know you are in that alliance! You just think you are a meany!"

Sunshine Rain's Analysis:
"One Cattle Dog down, one to go, but Syndey was a nice Cattle Dog, that's an oxymoron, isn't it? Bella and Kess are in cahoots, an inter-tribe Border Collie alliance. They call themselves 'the Booglers' and have a secret paw shake. Beware the Booglers! Bounce really did a good Kasey, "Bunggy Man", Hahaha, "Scary", Hehehehe. Rub my belly now as I take a nap!"
