As we approach the final challenge, suspicions run high and the campsite is filled with the sounds of hushed whispers. Kasey, the lovable Jack (ok, that's pushing it), remarked, "Alliances? at this point it's anyone's game and every dog for herself!" Kess, the lanky Border Collie, has confounded her opponents with her erratic strategies. Keeper, the beauty queen, is destined for stardom. "How does she keep her hair so shiny?" asked Kess of Keeper. And Xena, the Warrior Princess, spent her final days in camp Charging Hotties biting the other three dogs' ankles.

Host Dillon brought the final four dogs to tribal council for their final vote, "This is it, dogs, this is the last vote so make it count," councilled Dillon. Kasey had expressed anger at Kess for her aloofness and increasing instability. As expected, Kasey voted against Kess. An unlikely alliance had formed. Keeper (the good) and Xena (the bad) pondered the situation, "Since we know Kasey is voting against Kess, let's both vote off Kasey. This will guarantee that we will survive." It was a great move, especially when the vote revealed that Kess had once again voted against herself! Two votes against Kess, Two votes against Kasey. They were both voted off the island!

Asked about her strategy, Kess replied, "You know, I think I might have been overthinking." Well, it was a brilliant move to vote against herself weeks ago, but not with just four dogs left. Thinking is not Kess' strength. Kasey was stunned, "That stupid Kess, damn her! And Xena, how about a little Jack love?!"

With only two brave dogs left, one challenge remains, a head to head sprint through an Agility course. The victor wins the million dog bones, and the loser goes home empty handed. Keeper would seem to be the favorite with her speed and coordination, but Xena is very powerful and fearless. Dillon yelled, "On your mark, Get set, Go!" Xena sprinted between Keeper's legs and headed for the first of three jumps with a lead. Keeper quickly recovered and had a five foot lead going into the tunnel. Worried about her hair, Keeper cautiously went through the tunnel and Xena forced her way through. They were side by side over the triple jump. Xena took the lead with an amazingly fast A-frame. Keeper regained a commanding lead through a wicked serpentine jump sequence, but stumbled in a gopher hole after the last jump. Xena shot past her up and over the final obstacle, the dog walk. Keeper was was just a few feet behind, still hopeful that her speed would make up the difference. Fate would rear it's ugly head. Bounce, Diva and Kasey had been digging for gophers under the dog walk, undermining one of the supports. As Keeper reached the middle of the dog walk, it toppled. Keeper went crashing to the ground and was pinned by the evil device. The Jacks continued to dig, paying no attention to Keeper's gasps for air. All the Jacks except Xena, who heard Keeper, just feet from the finish line, Xena turned to see her fallen rival. She glanced back to the finish line which was so close now, but every second was critical, Keeper was trapped. What would she do?

It was a turning point in the little Jack's life. Xena ran back to Keeper, and with the strength of a thousand Rhinos, lifted the dog walk from Keeper's neck. "Keeper, are you OK?", asked Xena. "Yes", Keeper gasped, "I couldn't breathe, Thank you! Why did you come back for me, you could have won?" The crowd was stunned. The time limit for the Agility course had passed without a victor. The million dog bones would be lost. Xena looked into Keeper's eyes, "Some things are more important than a million dog bones. Friends are more important than even a THOUSAND DOG BONES!" Kess glanced at Brandy, "A thousand?". "Leave it alone, she's on a roll", whispered Brandy. "Wow Xena, I learned something too. I know we Charging Eagle dogs look fabulous in our lime green and royal blue, while ya'll wear your drab forest green and navy blue colors. Deep down, it's all just blue and green, and we're all the same. WE ARE FLYBALL DOGS!"

    The Jacks kept digging.

George's Press Statement:
"My client, Sunshine Rain, will be available for a brief statement. No questions, please. She is a very busy and smelly dog."
Sunshine Rain's Analysis:
"Wow, I think I got a little dust in my eye during this exciting finish. It seems Xena wasn't such a Meanie after all. Maybe we should all look at each other as friends rather than rivals. Isn't that what Flyball is all about? Who knows, maybe even Sadie and Ruby have a little goodness inside as well? ...... Not!
