General Information
The generic name for the matting is "anti-fatigue matting". It is used for workers who have to stand on hard floors for a long period of time (cashiers, assembly line etc.)
This type of matting is lighter than solid rubber and provides better
traction.
Don't use solid vinyl that is normally sold in hardware stores. Vinyl is very
slippery (when wet), stiff (on cold floors) and dogs do not get good traction
on it.
