NEWS FOR 2004

  • November 12-14, 2004, Calgary Canine Centre Flyball. We finished 5th in Division 1 on both days. Once again, the team's best time was 19.4. Dustie attained the FMCh mark.
  • September 18-19, 2004, FastAntics Flyball, Lethbridge. Both our teams struggled this weekend. Our Division 2 team finished 3rd on Saturday and 4th on Sunday. Our Division 3 team finished at the bottom of their division on Saturday and Sunday. On the bright side, the club set a new personal best time of 19.40 with Banjo, Dustie, Hudson and Zoey. Other brags include Jessie getting her FDCh and Buddy getting his FMX.
  • August 28-29, 2004, Tailwind Flyball, Didsbury. Both are teams did excellent this weekend. Our Division 2 team finished 1st on Saturday and Sunday. Our Division 3 team also finished 1st over both days. Banjo earned her FMX. Jessie ran like a pro and earned her FD and FDX. She was also clocked at 4.5 seconds at her first tournament!
  • August 14-15, 2004, Pawsitive Energy Flyball, Edmonton. Our team finished 5th in Division 1 on Saturday and 1st in Division 2 on Sunday. They set a new official record for the club with a 19.67. Way to go guys! They also ran a 19.56 but it didn't count since it was recorded as a breakout :( Zoey got her FMCh title!
  • July 24-25, 2004. Northern Power Paws Flyball, Edmonton. Our division 2 team once again did a great job. They placed 2nd on Saturday and went undefeated on Sunday to take 1st place. We won the prize for running closest to our seed time for the second year in a row!
  • July 14, 2004. Lethbridge celebrity baseball game demo, Lethbridge.
  • July 3-4, 2004. Spectrum Speed Flyball Tournament, Edmonton. We only sent one team to this tournament but they sure made it count. They went undefeated on Saturday and Sunday to take 1st place in division 2 on both days.
  • June 26-27, 2004. Calgary Longshots Flyball Tournament, Strathmore. Our division 2 team placed 4th on Saturday and 1st on Sunday. Congrats to Dexter on achieving his FM title and to Sage for getting her FDX!
  • July 1, 2004. Canada Day Agility and Flyball Demo, Henderson Park.
  • May 22-23, FastAntics Flyball Tournament, Coaldale, AB. Our division 2 team finished 2nd on Saturday and 5th on Sunday. The division 3 team placed 5th on Saturday and they finished 4th in division 4 on Sunday. Zoey and Dustie got their FMX titles while Freddie earned his FDCh!
  • May 15-16, Prairie PDQ Dogsports Flyball Tournament, Regina, SK. We ran both a regular and a multibreed team in this tournament. The regular team placed 7th on Saturday and Sunday while the multi team placed 4th over both days. Brags include Hudson achieving his FGDCh (30000) title. Banjo received her FM as well.
  • April 10-11, Lloydminster Hotdoggers Flyball Tournament. We only sent one team to this tournament but they did a great job. They placed 3rd in Division 2 on Saturday and went undefeated on Sunday to take 1st place. Thanks to Northern Power Paws and Calgary Konfuzion for helping us with just about everything. Also congrats to Ron and Rita's Mandy on reaching the coveted FDGCh (30000 pts.). She is the first FastAntics dog to reach this milestone!
  • March 13-14, Calgary Canine Centre Flyball Tournament. Both our division 1 and division 2 teams had a hard time at this tournament, being seeded at the bottom of their respective divisions. The teams still ran very well however with our division 1 team putting in their fastest time in a year and a half with two 19.9 second heats. Running in these heats were Hudson, Banjo, Dustie and Zoey. Also a big Hurray for Fred who earned his FDX and ran consistent all weekend!
  • January 17-18, Calgary Canine Centre Flyball Tournament. Our division 1 team placed 5th on both Saturday and Sunday. The division 2 team placed 4th on Saturday and 3rd on Sunday. We had lots of new titles earned at this tournament. Congrats go to Skip on achieving the milestone of FMCh. Stoker got his FMX title and Tiko got her FD
