Dart
is retired now, but if there was a Texas Flyball Hall of Fame, he would
definitely be in it. Dart raced when the first Texas
club (and the 5th club in the world) broke 16 seconds (Top
Dog Racers; 15.96; 29 March 2003). He also raced when the second
Texas club (and the 7th club in the world) broke 16 seconds
(XDOGS; 15.988; 27 March 2004).
Dart was much more versatile than most top-level flyball dogs. He competed in obedience, agility, rally, and herding.
One
of Dart's greatest achievements has been the fine offspring he has
sired that compete at top levels in agility and flyball. When
Hyper Flight won the 2009 U-FLI Division 1 Championships, three of the
five dogs racing were his offspring: Temper, Chex, & Link.
When Hyper Flight won the Championships again in 2010, three
of four dogs racing were his offspring: Temper, Psyche, & Chex.
Indeed, most of Hyper Flight's achievements in Division 1 in
U-FLI have been largely due to the offspring of Dart.
