Cheyenne, a pit/Jack cross, came to us as a one year old rescue. She had been abused and was quite the handful. After months of training, we thought she was ready for her first tournament. Jack released her to get her ball and Chey had other ideas. She ran, barking, right towards the dogs on the opposing team, and then decided to head for the doors and leave the arena. I finally caught her, brought her home and worked for a few more months. Although Chey still enjoys barking at all the dogs, she runs consistently giving us everything she has.
