Ginger

Ginger is a wonderful American Fielding Black Lab. She was adopted by the Ansons family in July of 2006 when she was about 6 months old. She had been hit by a truck and ended up in Rescue For Life Labrador Retriever Rescue. She underwent extensive surgery on her shattered back leg. http://www.rescueforlife.org/rescued.html At the time of the surgery it was a possibility that she would lose her leg. Surgery and crate healing never kept this pup down. She underwent hydrotherapy and physical therapy to regain strength in her leg. About 5 months after the surgery and many, many days of crate healing time, she was finally given the green light to GO! She hasn’t stopped since. Even with a 6 inch plate in her leg, this dog doesn’t quit. With all of the energy and ball drive this wonderful dog had, one of our neighbors suggested we look into flyball. We researched flyball on the internet and after one visit to Infurno we were hooked! Ginger loves flyball and can’t wait for Fridays when we put on her harness and tell her it’s time to go. She is a loving, loyal, friend and we are thankful for her every day!
