This was a great tournament, marking our first year anniversary as a competing flyball club. We should all take a moment to reflect on the progress of our dogs and our dog handling abilities.  I know that Kathy and I are very proud of everyone and how we have come together as a club.

As for this tournament, there is something about running in Region 15 that appeals to us.  The people are always very friendly, the competition is strong and the format gets us plenty of racing with a reasonable start and stop time to the day.

We found the food they served was pretty good and the facility is a great setup with plenty of crating space, the dining "loft", and double lanes of racing.  It was nice to have Cally back in the line up and she held her ball with tight passes all weekend .  Dakota has learned her job and is gaining confidence with every event. Kit and Macy also contributed solid performances throughout the weekend.  Ginger and Wendy have nailed the start position and it is always fun to rev her up.

Cheyene, Indy, and Sobe all did ok, but it looks like we need to spend a bit more time with them to keep box turns in check and build that drive.  Last but not least, Hunter who got his first title .  Constantly improving, it is rewarding to observe his progress.  I'm sure we can honestly claim we have the Doberman with the best box turn in all of Flyball. Some other dogs got their titles too! Macy, Kit, Ginger, Cally all got FDCH-Gold!!!

We are so lucky to have the help of Karlee, Dana, Perri, and Jessica.  Walking dogs, helping to run dogs, ball-shagging, time keeping, box loading, candy eating, pizza eating.....and it won't be too long before we have Evan, Bernie,  and Finn out there too.

I guess we will remember this tourney as the "thank god for the team" .....as we were so fortunate to have your help when our car broke down in that 90+ degree weather on Sunday afternoon .  All's well that end's well.....Thanks team !
