We entered 2 teams; Pawzest as Regular 3 & Lucifers as Multi Breed 2
with the following line-ups:
1. Pawzest - Regular 3
Seed 21.5
Jessie/Taz Tyronne Bella Buffy Beep
2. Lucifers - Multi Breed 2 Seed time 21.2
Beep/Tyronne Jessie Sally Taz Lily
Pawzest: The Pawzest team ran really well on Saturday
and at the end of the day was in first place. Sunday racing
went well too and Pawzest wound up winning their division against
some really great teams.
Lucifers: The Lucifers hit a bump in the
road on Saturday when Beep, our Rhodesian Ridgeback start dog, tore
the pads on her front paws. Tyronne (black Lab) was her backup
and filled in on one Saturday race and all day Sunday. At the
end of day Saturday Lucifers was 1/2 point behind the leader but
made it up on Sunday to win the division.
There was a lot of really great racing and the new
location at the York Fairgrounds worked out well. Tyronne and
Taz would have preferred a few more trees outside, but otherwise it
worked out pretty well.
The Long Island Road Rage team helped us out as we
were just a bit short-handed human-wise. They were great!
