Hotels, RV Parking and Camping
Hotel
We have a block of 30 rooms at the Days Inn in Blacksburg (information below). Note: this is a much closer and newly remodeled hotel. There are other hotels, including the Days Inn in Christiansburg, in the area which permit dogs.

They will hold the rooms until July 16. While this is not a Virginia Tech home game, it is the "Stepping Out" town festival. Please book early so we can add more rooms to the block if needed before they fill up.
RV’s
RV’s will be allowed to park overnight (no hookups) at the Blacksburg Community Center. Please let Margi (obedientcorgis@sc.rr.com) know a few days ahead if someone will be parking an RV overnight at the tournament site, so the police can be notified that you’re “legal”.
Camping
New River Junction is a campground for both RV’s and tent camping with a very pretty location on the New River about 25 minutes from the tournament site. If you are planning to park and RV there that weekend, please make reservations as soon as possible since there are only six water/electric hookups. |
