After being owners of numerous cats, "Skye" is the first dog in the Potok family filling an empty nest!  At the tender age of seven months, Skye was hit by an SUV, but Dr. Basinger, Orthopedic Specialist, restored Skye's ball and socket hip joint bolstered with a pin (she'll ping through airport security!).  After lengthy recovery time which required rest for a Border Collie puppy.  Skye has been able to enjoy first agility and now flyball.  Her special chores at home include keeping squirrels out of the bird feeder and yard (and house), and Canada Geese in the lake.

Recently, Skye underwent a series of therapeutic sessions with Dr. Maria Glinsky after a persistent limp required more attention than rest.  It seems that while compensating for her hip injury, Skye stressed her spine and front paws.  With Dr. Maria's help she is off the INJURED RESERVE list and back to racing.
