When I retired from teaching in 1996, I now had the time
to get a Border Collie. We went to the park twice a day and Darby chased a
ball for an hour. I loved the herding dog energy and mentally. I knew
NOTHING about Flyball--I didn't even know it existed. In obedience class we met Cindy Arnold who asked what Darby's job was. I signed her up for Flyball and waited 2 years to start the class. Darby absolutely loved it. She should get to 100,000 points sometime in 2008. She is the best dog I have ever had, in every respect.
