Glide was a swift, solid, stable and consistent running mate who could run on more than one team for most of her career, giving many other teammates a chance to run. Glide was committed to Flyball, showing an undying love for the sport throughout her 11+ year career. The team sometimes joked that she could run it all on her own, but it's always more fun with a friend you love. She was well known in her Region and her retirement weekend in Vassar, MI allowed for many of her Flyball family to witness her final event and a special final lap with her puppies. Glide brought five new puppies, and a new handler, into the sport. She encouraged others to compete through her participation in demonstrations over the years. With her gentle temperament, she 'trained' new handlers in the sport, as well as canines in the performance of exchanges. Glide achieved titles FD 1997-Hobbes 2006, retired 2008 at age 13. All her years and achievements were with Pawsitive Attitudes. Still cherished by her family, loved by her team, and missed on the racing lanes. We hope you find her just as worthy of this award as her team does.
