  Nigel was my once in a lifetime dog. After talking with his breeder
for over a year, we were finally able to get him as a 14-week old
potential conformation dog. I began training him for obedience and
then flyball as well. He finished his AKC championship at the first
American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club National Specialty in
1997. Later, he earned his Canadian championship and racked up group
placings in both the U.S. and Canada completely owner-handled.
  He was never very fast at flyball, but he loved it and was ranked #1
for a short time. (Let's face it--there aren't very many Cavaliers in
flyball!)
  Nigel earned obedience CDs in UKC, States, and ASCA venues as well as   AKC. He also earned Novice Agility and Novice Agility Jumpers titles.   He was the sire of 2 breed champions as well as our Flyball Master Miranda.  I don't think I will see the like of him again.
