Zac, it's been 10 months since I had to say good-bye to you (Christmas Eve 2010).  You had chosen me from the very beginning and had been by my side ever since.  We spent many of great times together at flyball practices and tournaments.  I remember your very first trip to a tournament in Canada as a puppy. You snuck off with your sister to find your way to the racing lanes with your frantic mother, grandmother & team members following behind you.  Once we had you both safe in our arms we laughed and joked about our smart, upcoming flyball dogs.

We also had great memories at Aunt Kim's house playing chuck-it, swimming in the pond and also our many trips to the school yard to play.  I also cherished our down time together.

I could not believe that you had gotten so sick, so quickly.  The medications seem to help but only for a very short period of time.  I also could not believe what the doctor's I work with were telling me, so I had a family (vet) doctor look at you.  There's no way that he was telling me the same thing, it just couldn't be true so of course I took you to the emergency doctor. My heart just sank when I was hearing the same news again "brain tumor".  It couldn't be true....I can't lose you.

You were so brave and calm the last night we had together even though I wasn't at first but I knew I had to pull myself together to be strong for you.  I'm glad I was able to hold you in my arms and telling you how much I loved you.  I know you are now happy and pain free at the rainbow bridge with all of your family and team mates that passed before you.

Zac you are loved and missed very much.  You are always in my and your teammates hearts.  We all think of you often and talk about what a great dog you were!!

Remember, it's All About The Competition!! :)
Love You Always Big Red!!

I was with him from day one.....I was his mama (Glide's) midwife!! :)  He was the first born then along came his two brothers and four sisters!!  Yes, four girls and I was given first pick!!  Watching these pups day after day trying to figure which of these girls were going to be mine.  As the pups got older and started to walk the big red boy would always climb into my lap to give me kisses.  I would scratch his head while I watched the girl pups play.  This happened over and over again until it was finally time to pick my puppy so others could make their choice.  Oh gosh, here comes the big red boy again for more attention and kisses.  How could I leave without him!!  Sorry Zac that it took me so long to decide you were the one for me but I'm glad you never gave up on me!!  I would like to thank your grandma Cindy A. for having you in my life!!  I love you Big Red!!
