On July 26th, Pawsitive Energy was happy to attend and support Northern Power
Paw's first ever tournament. We entered one team in Division 2, Pawsitive Energy Oh Balls! consisting of: Jiffy, Reilly
Caye, Zoey, Kiera and our height dog Small Fry. And of course we can't forget our boxloader Lyall.
After working out a few quirks in the running order Oh Balls! settled down had some good races and lots of fun.
Lokai a Belgian Tevuren run by Michele Stade achieved his FMCh title at this tournament.
We placed 6th in the division and had a best time of 21.67 seconds.
There was an awesome raffle table, made even better by the fact that some of the team members won things, a BBQ
steak dinner and when not racing, the team had their own smorgasbord of food set up to nibble on, sort of our own
home away from home. Great tournament NPP, looking forward to next year's.
On Sunday, the tournament was hosted by Tailwinds, a Southern Alberta team. It was their first tournament also and we were glad to be supporting them. Our team Pawsitive Energy Oh Balls! had a couple of changes for the second day which allowed more of the dogs to get a chance to play over the weekend.
The Sunday lineup consisted of: Jiffy, Caye, Kiera, Lokai, McDuff and again Small Fry as our height dog.
Lori took over the boxloading duties so Lyall could run his dog.
The dogs and handlers had a good time and some good runs.
Kiera a Border Collie run by Henny Simonsen achieved her FMCh title at this tournament.
The team placed 8th in Division 2, with a best time of 21.8 seconds.
There was another great raffle table (some more prizes won by team members) and lots more food at the Pawsitive Energy smorg.
Congratulations to Tailwinds on holding their first tournament. We had fun.
