Brian and Denise Deffes and Skye

Skye was adopted on April 13, 2001 (Good Friday) from the ASPCA in Houston, Texas. She was a quiet, shy and reserved 3-4 month old puppy. She had been abandoned with her brother. Skye appears to be a lab/border collie mix. She loves to chew and goes through toys very quickly. She also likes to go camping, canoeing and hiking.

Skye began training for flyball in March 2003 and has progessed quite nicely. She ran at the Reliant Center in July 2003 for her first official tournament.

Brian is a Terminal Coordinator for P and O NedLloyd. He coordinates the shipping of cargo containers on the west coast.

Denise is a Project Coordinator for the Offshore Energy Center. She sets up workshops, summer camps and other events.
