Denise Gordon and Boz

  Boz's full AKC name is Bosley Bernard Buffett. Several weeks after Denise brought him home at 4 months of age, she went to see her friend, Lee Hewitt's dog Mason, a Border Collie mix, run in a flyball tournament at Astrohall.
  Denise thought flyball looked like something fun and challenging that she and Boz could do together. Two months after the Astrolhall tournament they began participating in a flyball training class with a local club.
  According to Denise, Boz was not the most willing or talented participant. It took the better part of 6 months to get him interested in a tennis ball. He made his flyball debut in March of 2000 at the HFA sponsored tournament in Hutto. Although he was only supposed to warm-up for the beginning of the day to see how he handled himself, Boz reacted like a true champion. He stayed focused and ran as lead dog in the team's last race of the day. And, fortunately, it was a 25 point run for the team. He earned his Flyball Dog title in one run.
  When Boz is not playing flyball, he love to chase the ball (or anything else that moves), do tricks, freestyle and generally makes Denise a very happy camper.
