Riot was a breeder's dog until his growth spurt put him "out of standard" at 11 months. He was adopted at a year by Jane in October 1998, who traveled to Ontario, Canada to pick him up.

His short career began September 2000, but a painful back and an 11-inch jump height ended his career less than two years after it began.

He had a love for this sport which defies words ... but the squeeks of the toys we win torment him :)
