Stretching

Comments on stretching: Stretching should only be done when tissues are warmed up - at least 5-10 minutes of moderate exercise. My preference is to stretch after exercise.
Each stretch should be held 15-30 seconds

Stretch #1: Front limb extension
Stretch #2: Lateral front stretch
The front leg is "folded up" and the elbow pulled away from the body.
Stretch #3: Rear limb extension
Stretch #4: Rear limb lateral stretch
The rear leg is folded up and the knee is pulled away from the body (stretches inner thigh muscles)
Stretch #5: Achilles tendon stretch
Stretch #6: Lateral spine stretch
I use a cookie to lure the head to the side.
