Unorthodogs is an intentionally small club designed to work as a team, and as a result current club members must vote any new member into the club. If you are an experienced flyballer looking for a team and feel like you and your dog are a good fit for Unorthodogs we would like to meet you.

If you and your dog are the right fit for our club, and our club is the right fit for you and your dog, we can look into voting you in. All new teammates must be voted in by current club members to join Unorthodogs.

Imperative attributes to any potential Unorthodogs member:

DOG:
  • Must not show aggressive behavior towards other dogs or people.
  • Must have good off-leash recall to handler.
  • Must be comfortable kenneled during practice and at tournaments.
  • Must have basic obedience skills (sit,stay,come).
  • Must be in good health.
    • HUMAN:
  • Must have good sense of humor.
  • Must enjoy flyball as a competitive sport, without taking it too seriously.
  • Must be enthusiastic enough to work, learn and improve.
  • Must take responsibility for your dog (including current vaccinations and licenses).
  • Must scoop your dog's poop.
