Syd was born December 2, 2005 in South Florida as a direct result of Hurricane Wilma.  Her mom (Roxy) and dad both got loose

when fences were blown down in the area and, although both AKC-registered Aussies, Roxy’s family felt she was “ruined” and tossed her out. 

Fortunately for her (and us—I think) some kindly neighbors took Roxy in and cared for her through pregnancy, delivery and raising 8 pups! 

We got pick of the litter, and that’s DEFINITELY Syd (most of the time).  She’s a happy-go-lucky fun-loving girl who enjoys playing ball (please,

please, PLEASE throw the ball—again), soccer, frisbee, socializing with her friends, rough-housing with her older sis and, above all, bullying her new little brother (isn’t that what big sisters are for?).
