NEWS FOR 2005

January 5-6, 2005 - Calgary Canine Centre Flyball. We ran respectably in Division 1 on Saturday with a 4th place finish. We placed 7th on Sunday. No brags to report this time out.

March 12-13, 2005 - Calgary Canine Centre Flyball. Division 2 - 3rd and 4th. Skip earned his Onyx!

May 7-8, 2005 - River Runners Flyball. Warman, SK. Division 2, 4th and 3rd. No new titles at this tournament.

May 21-22, 2005 - Fastantics Flyball, Coaldale. Division 4, 3rd both days. We earned regional points for the first time ever, finishing 3rd and 2nd in Division 1. We also improved our fastest time by almost a full second to 18.47. Dot earned her FDX, Hudson received his FDGCH 40K, Banjo earned her FMX and Tiko received her FM.

July 2-3, 2005 - Calgary Longshots Flyball, Springbank. Division 1, 2nd and 7th with a fastest time of 18.48. Division 3, 6th and 7th. Traffic earned her FM.

July 9-10, 2005 - Power Paws Flyball, Ellerslie. Division 1, 4th both days. Dustie earned her Onyx.

August 13-14, 2005 - Pawsitive Energy Flyball. Division 2, 4th and 8th. No new titles earned.

August 27-28, 2005 - Tailwind Flyball, Didsbury. Division 2, 2nd both days. Dot earned her FDCh.

September 10-11, 2005 - Diamonds in the Ruff, Langham,Sask. Division 2, 2nd and 4th.

September 17-18, 2005 - Fastantics Flyball, Lethbridge. Division 2, 5th both days. Divison 1, 4th and 5th.

November 26-27, 2005 - Calgary Canine Centre Flyball Tournament, Calgary. Division 1, 7th and 5th. This was the last tournament for our little spitfire Cocker Spaniel, Zoey. Zoey was retired shortly after this tournament. Prior to this, she had run every tournament the team went to for the last three years (except one). She was the core of our division 1 team, running almost exclusively with teammates Hudson, Dustie and Banjo. Zoey will be missed on the flyball lanes.
