Dani was adopted on April 18, 2008 from Bucks County SPCA ( http://www.bcspca.org/ ) at the age of 6 months. Finding Dani was a true karma event and thanks to Sue Walski and her staff, along with Amy we found a true gem in this girl. Dani had been surrendered to the SPCA only hours earlier because "the baby was allergic". Dani was immediately introduced to her big brothers - Baron and Briggs - (GSDs) and took over the household in short order. She is a beautiful girl and has a wonderful personality.
Dani graduated from Training with Kindness in Obedience Level 1 and 2 and Basic Agility. She learned the sport of flyball relatively quickly and was entered in her first tournament as an alternate in March. Dani earned her first two titles (FD, FDX) in that tournament. She hopes to play flyball for a long time and would like to begin to compete in Agility soon.
Danica was named for Danica Patrick, IRL Race Driver and 2 days after getting Dani, Danica Patrick won her first IRL race. Dani uses the couch to bank off of as she tears through the house on her way to herding her big brothers. Dani has become my constant companion and has been my inspiration to get up off of the couch.
