The Scoop on Skipper

I was born April 29, 1999 on a sheep farm...

My biological mum and dad are working dogs and travel around trialing and doing exhibitions...

My dad's name is Scotty and he does duck herding shows at farming exhibitions around Nova Scotia ...

Little kids just love to watch...

My funny human mum and dad thought I was cute so they took me home thinking they had a simple dog to love...

They soon found out that life wasn't so simple with a border collie...

It's simple if you have a farm, sheep, other border collies and spend your time outside working...

So 4 years later and I am still "training" them...

I have a sister she is 9 and a laboller (lab/duck toller mix) she's weird, but good company...

Last June a new girl (Sweep) came to live with us she is 4 also and is a border collie, the same as me...

She is cool and knows how to play border collie style...you "must" play by the rules...

Also there is Stinky the ferret but I don't want to talk about "her"...

So remember most border collies are high maintenance, smarter than their humans, overly sensitive, born to work up to as many as 50 miles or more a day, obsessive compulsive, and very very lovable...

Oh yeah, so all of us could keep living together and not go crazy mum joined some internet border collie groups and then got me into a sport called flyball...

I LOVE Flyball...

Take care all,

Skipper

PS - safe racing... hope to see you in the lanes this year ...

This is Dr. Brad Rusaw. He is my chiropractor. I really like him. He makes me feel good and checks me out so I’m tip top for flyball. (My mum worries a lot.)
