Sundogs

Deland, FL

Sundogs did a great job with this tourney!  The air conditioning was Kickin' and the dogs loved that!  Saturday we were all over the place but on Sunday, we came together as the team we know we can be and came in first place in Division 1!  What a change from Saturday.  The only title won this tourney was our lil jack, Scat, who finally pulled it together enough to earn her first 25 points and her flyball dog (FD) title.  Way to go Scat! We expect great things from this crazy little girl in the future.

We are sad to say Terry and Tchaika will be leaving the Waverunners to run with their own team, Express Delivery, and this was their last tournament with us.  They have been a great asset to us, and Terry was always willing to help out whenever and wherever needed and they will both be missed. We sincerely hope that we helped them learn about flyball tournaments and they can pass what they learned on to their teammates as they will now be the seasoned pair on their new team.  (you don't have to tell them about our bad habits though ;) )  Although we will see them both at tournaments in the future, we were just hoping that she and her team captain, Rob, would forget she was a Waverunner only temporarily. Oh well... Good luck with your new team! Express Delivery is lucky to have you!  See you out on the racing lanes!

Florida Air Xpress

Lakeland, FL

Wow, what a weekend of titles. First on Saturday was Ayla earning those last few elusive points for her FMX. Her Mom couldn't be more proud of her Wild (sometimes blonde) Child.

Also on Saturday, our newest members (borrowed from Express Delivery) Terry and her yellow Lab, Tchaika earned her FD and FDX and late on Sunday she earned her FDCH. For a new girl to the sport, 7 yrs young to boot, she sure ran like a seasoned champion.  Then in the last heat of our racing day, he couldn't have possibly waited any longer, Loki earned the final points needed for his ONYX title.  The first Belgian Malinois in Florida to do so!  Sally wants to thank all her teammates for helping Loki in his fight for each and every point earned. Without your dedication & team work he couldn't have done it.

Pawmetto Pack/On Your Bark

Florence, SC

Well its been a while since we attended a tourney and this one we did up big!  We drove to South Carolina for the South Carolina Classic.  We had a blast and brought home a Division 2, 2nd place ribbon but we couldn't do it without the help of a lot of other people.  First and foremost in my mind is Amy from DogGoneFast.  She ran the Scramalicious multi-colored midget for me, all weekend long!  And she did a great job of it too!  So THANK YOU to Amy for that.  Bonnie from Gate City Relay box loaded for us all weekend and certainly without a boxloader there would be no flyball so the whole team is indebted to you.  Gamblers for helping me with my starts and Paul, no matter what you say, if I am .07 on my starts, I am not backing up 6 feet when we are racing you!  Marni from Pawmetto Pack, you are great.  Thanks for making us feel at home.  The biggest news of our weekend that our very own Digger earned his FM!  Way to go DiggaDiggaDigga!

Raiders of the Lost Bark - Hollywood, FL

What a great weekend.  The weather, the racing... everything was great!  Waverunners took 1st place in Division 1 on Saturday!  Once again, the Raiders outdid themselves!  From the welcome baskets with fresh orange juice, fresh strawberries, bagels & pumpkin bread to the "Turtle Award" and beautiful ribbons, you guys are awesome!

Too Hot Too Handle - Deerfield Beach, FL

RAIN RAIN RAIN.  Off all weekends a storm front decides to cross the country and take a vacation in Deerfield Beach for this weekend.  So we hunkered down in our waterproof tent (thanks Neil!) and had a party!  We actually did get some racing done Saturday morning but the Judge had to call racing for the day and we picked back up Sunday morning.  Joey earned his FM!  That was one hard earned title one Sunday at a time.  So despite the bad weather, we earned a title and had a great time. Pictures to come soon

Waverunners Tropic V ~ Lakeland, FL

Well our 5th annual tournament has come and gone.  What a tournament it was.  Even though we were the hosting team we had a great time. However, we couldn't have done it without the future table queens, Christy from Raiders and Karen from Too Hot.  Thanks a million you two! You are the best!

Congratulations to Skyler of Palm City Punchers for winning our "Height Dog with a Heart Award"... Jennie, have you even put it down yet?

Another congratulations goes out to Too Hot Too Handle for winning the Good Sportsmanship award.  You have earned it.  So many of your teammates are always on hand to help when needed.

Congratulations to Jo Ann Kittredge for winning our worker's raffle. That $50 musta really wanted to come back to you!

And last but not least a big atta boy to Snarley for earning his FM and a WOOOOHOOO to our own home town girl Missy Rugles for earning her FMX.  Since she is a Waverunners foundation dog, it was only fitting she earned this prestigious title at our tournament!

See you all at Fax in January.  Happy Holidays!

Storm Riders ~ Deerfield Beach, FL

This tournament marked yet another "first" for our little team.  We placed 1st in Division 1 on Saturday and 2nd on Sunday!  The team is elated with these placements.

No titles earned this tournament but Rue is up next for a title.  She should earn her FMX  at our tournament, Tropic V, in November.

We celebrated Jordan's Birthday in grand style! Well... we did, he celebrated as he should have... with barrier protection on his tushy... he is a young'n after all.

Check out Jordan's Bday video!
