Today, the Comets are a rapidly growing team of individuals dedicated to having fun with our dogs and competing at the highest level possible. We practice every Saturday at 10 am at Fuji Park, weather permitting. When it is too cold or wet to practice outside, we move to the Pawsitive Image Grooming Salon where Susan and staff have been kind enough to donate their daycare space to the team. Practice locations will be posted by 7PM the Friday before practice on the Team Schedule.

Visitors are always welcome at Comet practices, either as observers or as drop-ins with your dog. We are more than happy to answer any of your questions regarding this high energy canine team sport and we welcome your dog's participation! While dropping into regular practice is free, droppping in on a class for an hour lesson is just $5.00. Be sure to attend our monthly meeting on the first Saturday of the month right after practice to learn more about the Comets.

The Comets work very hard to keep the team funded minimally by the members by holding fundraisers. The money raised goes to the purchase and maintenance of equipment, insurance, as well as the day to day expenses of the team. Partial proceeds of certain fundraisers are donated to organizations such as the Carson City Animal Shelter or the Canine Health Foundation. A treasurer's report is always available and is published in the Comet Newsletter each month. We invite the talents of new members to participate in all of our activities and contribute their ideas and views. At the Comets, we're All for one and one for all!
