Queen City Road Runners' Flyball Class
- Contact Eli to arrange a class
- This class is for individual dog/person, with class dates and times tailored to the students schedule.
- Each dog will train individually during the week, until proficient enough to join club practice.
What to expect in class
I introduce the basic behaviors needed to play flyball: recall, retrieve, and box turn.
Each dog and handler will be coached individually, at their own pace.
Class meets once a week for one hour. Your dog will build on the preceding week during three separate sessions in that hour.
I will have no more than 2-3 students in a class at a time.
Each handler will have exercises to work on at home between classes.
We have videos and can demonstrate the behaviors we are training, make sure you are clear about the objective and how to gain it.
There are a number of techniques and methods for training any given behavior. We match the technique and method to the handler and the dog.
