JULY 11, 2004 - AMANA, IA - The Cyclone Flyers Flyball Club raced one team each day in the Hawkeye Hustlers Tournament this past weekend at Iowa's Amana Colonies.

The Cyclone Flyers' sole team placed 5th in the 5th Division on Saturday, and 4th in the 5th Division on Sunday.

Special congratulations to Conner, who earned his Flyball Dog Champion (FDCh) on Saturday, to Bailey for moving to 4th place on the Top American Eskimo List, and to Tucker for running his first full run in a tournament ring!

The Cyclone Flyers will next be in action at the All Ruffed Up Tournament in Albert Lea, Minnesota, on July 31st and August 1st.





RESULTS FROM MAY


MAY 17, 2004 - AMANA, IA - For the first time in club history, the Cyclone Flyers Flyball Club raced two regular class teams AND a multi-breed team at the Jammn' K9's Tournament at the Amana Colonies this past weekend.

The multibreed team ran in Divison 3 on Friday night. The club's two regular-class teams ran in Division 8 and Division 9 both days of the weekend tournament. The multibreed team placed 5th in Division 3 Friday night. Cyclone Flyers A placed 2nd on Saturday and 6th on Sunday in Division 8.

RESULTS FROM APRIL


APRIL 5, 2004 - OMAHA, NE - The Cyclone Flyers Flyball Club raced both days at the Omaha 4-Play Tournament at Omaha, Nebraska this past weekend.

The club's team ran in Division 5 both days of the weekend tournament. The team placed 3rd on Saturday and 7th on Sunday.

Special congratulations for two BIG titles this weekend. Halley earned her Flyball Master Champion (FMCh) title on Sunday, surpassing the 15000 point mark. Also, Brittney scored her third title, Flyball Dog Champion (FDCh), on Saturday. Nice job!

The Cyclone Flyers will next be in action at the Jammn' K9's Tournament in the Amana Colonies on May 15th and 16th, where they will help the Jammn' K9's host the tournament.

MARCH 21, 2004 - MINNEAPOLIS, MN - For the first time in club history, the Cyclone Flyers Flyball Club raced two regular class teams at the Happy Hurdlers Tournament at TCOTC this past weekend.

The club's two teams ran in Division 3 and Division 6 both days of the weekend tournament. Cyclone Flyers A placed 6th on Saturday and 6th on Sunday in Division 3.

Possible appearances for the Cyclone Flyers are coming up next at the Omaha 4-Play Tournament in Omaha on April 3rd and 4th, and the High Velocity Tournament in Minneapolis on April 24th and 25th. These dates are pending.

FEBRUARY 22, 2004 - MINNEAPOLIS, MN - Another great weekend of racing was turned in by the Cyclone Flyers Flyball Club at the Makin' Trax Tournament at TCOTC this past weekend.

The club's only team ran in a very competitive Division 3 both days of the weekend tournament. Cyclone Flyers placed 5th on Saturday and 6th on Sunday.

MORE RESULTS FROM FEBRUARY


FEBRUARY, 8, 2004 - CEDAR RAPIDS, IA - The Cyclone Flyers Flyball Club braved the cold and some treacherous driving conditions to travel to Cedar Rapids for the Skidmarkz On Ice tournament on the campus of Kirkwood Community College.

It was a very well-run tournament, and fun was had by all, as the Cyclone Flyers turned in a third place finish in division 5 during the two-day tournament.

Congratulations to Dander for setting new best times at 12 inches (6.1 seconds) and 13 inches (7.0 seconds).

The team's best time for the weekend was 21.20 seconds.

The Cyclone Flyers will next appear at a tournament at TCOTC in Minneapolis the weekend of February 21st and 22nd. We will be racing both days.





RESULTS FROM JANUARY


JANUARY 11, 2004 - BROOKLYN PARK, MN - After a two-month hiatus over the holidays, the Cyclone Flyers Flyball Club resumed their Fiscal Year 2004 racing schedule with an appearance at the Dynomutts Tournament in the Twin Cities this weekend.

Our club's one team finished with a 6th place finish in division three on Saturday, and a 6th place finish in division two on Sunday.

NOVEMBER 9, 2003 - BROOKLYN PARK, MN - The Cyclone Flyers Flyball Club had a great time at the Dynomutts Tournament in the Twin Cities this weekend.

Our team represented the club well, with a 3rd place finish in division three on Saturday, and a 5th place finish in division three on Sunday.

OCTOBER 19, 2003 - AMANA COLONIES, IA - Another successful weekend of racing was turned in by the Cyclone Flyers Flyball Club at the Hawkeye Hustlers' Fall Fling Tournament in the Amana Colonies.

The team placed well, 5th in division six both days of the tournament.

OCTOBER 12, 2003 - MINNEAPOLIS, MN - The Cyclone Flyers Flyball Club started the new Fiscal Year 2004 racing season off with a BANG! at the TCOTC Tournament in Minneapolis this past weekend.

The team rolled through the 2nd division competition during the two one-day tournaments, losing only one race the entire weekend. And, the club's previous speed record was topped six times over the course of the weekend.

The team placed 1st in division 2 on Saturday, going undefeated during the session.

The team placed 2nd in division 2 on Sunday, losing only one race during the session.

Special congrats to the team of Cutter, Dakota, Digit, and Halley, who shattered the previous club speed record of 19.13 seconds, to log a new club speed record of 18.760! Congrats!

We're already anticipating next week's "in-state" season opener at the Hawkeye Hustler Tournament the weekend of October 18th and 19th!
