Chum

My name is Chum and I was born on July 4th, 2004 at Blue Cedar Kennels in Nevada. I'm a purebred sport dog! My mix is 1/2 border collie, 1/4 staffordshire bull terrier, 1/8 border terrier and 1/8 jack russell. I live with my humans Brian and Joanne, and my canine siblings Phoenix, Rocket and Speck.

With Rocket being such a Daddy's boy, and Phoenix getting on in years, Joanne set about bringing me home with the intention of being her new flyball star. So far I have not disappointed! I ran my first tournament in August 2005 at the tender age of 13 months. I am as fast as lightening, and have a snappy box turn. I average a time of 4.1 in the pack, but I've been clocked as fast as 3.98 while racing start position!

In addition to flyball, I am also training in agility and search and rescue, plus I help Joanne with her puppy lessons. I've even given sheep-herding a try, and did not too badly, if I do say so myself. I really enjoyed moving those woolies around! I'm not sure what else Joanne has planned for my future, but I'm sure it will be fun!
